problem
How can I develop a strong and cohesive brand identity for CVA’s cultural arts and activist programming club?
solution
Contributed to shaping the visual direction and design system, extending beyond logo creation to amplify its impact across key touchpoints—such as social media graphics and flyers—to strengthen Crafty Action Society's overall marketing presence.
I led both the conceptual and visual development of the brand system. The parallel, radiating lines drew inspiration from the iconic 1968 Mexico Olympics rings, serving as a subtle homage while being reimagined through a modernist lens to create a vivid, kaleidoscopic effect.

Since I didn't have access to artwork or photographic references, I set out to design a series of illustrative icons that capture the essence of the club.
The term "Craftivist"reflects a modern approach where artists use creative mediums not just for personal expression, but to inspire social awareness and action. I interpreted this concept visually by incorporating the "fist of power" as a central symbol, representing strength, unity, and activism. This imagery highlights how creative tools can be used as instruments for social change.
Overall, the designs aim to communicate the idea of art as a vehicle for collective influence and purpose.
